VideoCompiler a mysterious and serious man who has never shown his face or voice to the internet, and posts troll videos on YouTube. He is responsible for Ventrilo Harassment, a series of videos in which he uses old sound clips to piss off people in Ventrilo rooms, resulting in barrels of lulz and troll win. It’s a possibility that he lives in his mother’s basement, since he asks for people to donate to him, implying that he has no job. This is forgivable though, since he puts his time to such good use.

The video that started this now growing phenomenon is none other than, “Duke Nukem Forever” where in VideoCompiler harasses a very under-medicated woman while she is playing the Lord of the Rings MMORPG with her guild. After creating such a laughable video, he then spawned many more like it, using different soundboards, as well as recording player’s voices and replaying them to place them in a state of confusion among their peers. I have included the original video done by VideoCompiler within this blog post for those of you that have yet to hear of him, and for those of you that would like to relive that moment in time. There are just so many to list or even talk about. For those of you who would like to update yourself with the latest Chuck Norris facts, you should head over to www.chucknorrisfacts.com. The truth is though, if I didn’t praise to Chuck Norris in my blog to gamer-hood, he would probably find out where I live and round house kick my face in. I fear the Norris, as should you all. Not even Indiana Jones can withstand Chuck’s awesomeness as you will witness in the video provided with this post. Skip to 1:59 to see exactly what I mean about this powerful all-knowing being!

“So this past Wednesday Dec 16th somebody broke into my apartment while I was at work and stole about 24 ps3 video games, 45 ps2 games, 52 snes games, all of my consoles including my PS3 and components including a PS3 camera.  What the thief didn’t know is that I had my PS3 connected to my PSP.  As some of you know, once you hook up your PSP to your PS3 you can remotely control your PS3 through your PSP through a local or internet connection.  I tried every day, every hour to see if by any chance the thieves connected the PS3 to the internet, surely on Friday Dec 18th at around 11:30pm I was able to turn on the PS3 from my home by using my PSP using my internet connection.  I opened a chat room, turned on the camera and surely enough I got to see a close look at the thief’s face! (probably looking at it wondering why the PS3 had turned on by itself!!!), with my digital camera readily available I took a picture of the PSP screen with the thief’s face!!  Called the police and they quickly recognized the person!!!! LONG STORY SHORT, I GOT MY PS3 WITH NO DAMAGE WHATSOEVER AND ALL OF MY GAMES WERE RECOVERED!. ”

The one thing that stands out more in the gaming world, rather than the real world, is how many guys love playing as a female character. Maybe it’s because they enjoy watching a nice butt the entire time they play, or maybe, they’re playing something they can’t do in real life. Well they could possibly do this in real life, if not for being frowned upon, or made fun of by their peers. The only other place this tends to be ok to society, is at the famed Otaku Conventions, where Cos-Play is an everyday lively hood.

If you look at this from the outside, people may think you’re abnormal for enjoying the looks of an illustrated cartoon character. However on the inside, of every gamer, they wish that anime, or games, were the real world. Even if not for the big breasted women, but just to be some sort of bad-ass toting around a huge gun, or sword, and slaying demons as the come into your tiny suburban town.

Metal, if you’re a hardcore gamer, you more then like use Metal as one of your background sounds while playing, something especially heavy to help you get into that killing mood, especially in a hardcore FPS or even RPG where you are PVPing other players.

Rap, a huge majority of gamers love rap music. Why this is I don’t know, but nothing seems to stop them from blaring it loudly into their headset so that the entire gaming community can hear it. I assume it’s the opposite of the metal group as it must mellow them out.

Lastly, Video Game music. All gamers LOVE video game music, the symphonies, the metal guitars. They love it so much that they have websites dedicated to soundtracks and remixes. Of course there is also OCRemix, which I tend to enjoy the most. OCRemix has been running a site dedicated to Video Game music remixes for over ten years now and still running. You have everything from ameteur/beginner musical composers, to profession/veteran composers. Sadly they are not paying me money for mentioning them in this blog, but that’s ok. So if you haven’t yet heard of OCRemix then you should definately check them out. They have quite the selection of nostalgic video game remixes.

If you spend time enough at a gaming center, say oh, 6 hours, you might just get hungry, and what better way  to get back to your gaming then to run across the street and pick up a nice fattening quarter pounder, or better yet, a combo meal with fries and drink? If you REALLY don’t want to put your gaming life on hold, you could always ask one of your fellow gamers next to you to go on a run for the food, at the cost of, “you fly, I’ll buy.” But hey, you still get to game right? We all need to eat, even if it clogs our arteries.

Let’s be real though, the majority of gamers that have headsets, can’t afford them. That’s right, they have their parents buy them the headset. Then of course you enter a game, as either a young adult, or adult, with some whiney and obnoxious adolescent. Especially the ones that like to play games such as; Mordern Warfare, MAG or Halo. Any and every gamer out there knows what I am refering to. There is nothing worse then hearing some adolescent screaming at the top of his lungs over a headset about getting killed while you or your team are trying to figure out the next best decision to win the match.

So many of these kids nowadays swear even more then I do. Sometimes it makes me laugh to hear some 10 year old saying what they say. For those of you that have yet to experience this hilarity of the gaming world, then feel free to the videos posted below. However be warned, they are quite vulgar in nature.
